Wander through San Martín Plaza an d along the lively Jirón de la Unión until you reach the Plaza Mayor. Here, you’ll witness colonial architecture, bustling markets, and street vendors serving delicious Peruvian snacks. A must-stop is the Taberna Queirolo, where tradition and modern flavors blend seamlessly—perfect for a mid-morning snack with a local pisco. The journey continues to Lima Cathedral and Larco Museum in Pueblo Libre, with a private curator guiding you through Peru’s finest cultural artifacts. Your day begins with an early transfer to Ollantaytambo station. Here, you’ll board a luxury train, disembarking at KM 104 to begin the final leg of the Inca Trail, a scenic five-hour hike to Inti Punku, the Sun Gate. After a light snack, savor your first view of Machu Picchu as the sun sets over the ancient citadel.
