At 8:30 am, enjoy a light breakfast—there’s a gourmet food journey awaiting! Begin your Exclusive Lima Experience by visiting the heart of the city. Wander through San Martín Plaza an d along the lively Jirón de la Unión until you reach the Plaza Mayor. Here, you’ll witness colonial architecture, bustling markets, and street vendors serving delicious Peruvian snacks. A must-stop is the Taberna Queirolo, where tradition and modern flavors blend seamlessly—perfect for a mid-morning snack with a local pisco. The journey continues to Lima Cathedral and Larco Museum in Pueblo Libre, with a private curator guiding you through Peru’s finest cultural artifacts. After savoring your creations, the afternoon takes you to Barranco, Lima’s bohemian district, where you’ll explore the charming streets and visit the Pedro de Osma Museum. Your day begins with an early transfer to Ollantaytambo station. Here, you’ll board a luxury train, disembarking at KM 104 to begin the final leg of the Inca Trail, a scenic five-hour hike to Inti Punku, the Sun Gate. After a light snack, savor your first view of Machu Picchu as the sun sets over the ancient citadel.
