Day 1
So let’s start, to gain time you must choose a flight that brings you to Lima, the capital of Peru in the early hours of the day, there are AMERICAN AIRLINES flights that arrive at 05:00 am, ok I know! It is super early !!!! But we have to take advantage of the day !, once at the hotel, we can have breakfast enjoying the first hours in Lima, let’s check in later! We will leave at 9:00 am towards the center of Lima, we will enjoy the perfect mix between the modern and the historical, we will walk through its streets and visit with our guide, The Cathedral of Lima, The Plaza de armas, The covento de San Francisco and then return to modern Lima, to which it is worth mentioning that Peru was again chosen as the gastronomic capital of America, so it is time to be eaten by Peruvian cuisine, and as we are in Lima, we must enjoy the products of the sea! We have many options from the most exclusive to those designed for locals, we will try the ceviche !!!! A delicious sauteed tenderloin and a dessert called picaron! Made with tradition, either in the top restaurants or on a tour of the best bars or street stations (especially clean and safe!) Will make your first day in Lima the best !, in the afternoon we can take some bikes, we can walk or drive and get to know museums, archeological centers or whatever your interest wants to do, we are about to finish! And we go to the hotel!
Day 2
After a good rest, this day, our host will take us to the airport to board the flight to Cusco, the capital of the Inca Empire, a mid-morning flight, will make us rest and recharge batteries to have our first day close to heaven, we will arrive At 11 thousand feet high, this day will be relaxed and quiet, our guide and private transport will welcome us to leave the city and head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, en route we will enjoy the incredible landscapes of the route To Pisac, we can have a picnic lunch surrounded by nature and unique views, we will visit the archaeological center of Pisac and before taking the route to the hotel we will take a walk through the beautiful and unique market of Pisac.
En route we can have the option of visiting a highly recommended museum called Inkariy, with life-size figures we will take a look at the different civilizations that occupied ancient Peru, then arrive at the hotel and enjoy the facilities of the hotel we choose
Day 3
It is time to start our adventure to Machu Picchu, we will leave early to have a day full of history, we will leave Ollantaytambo station, a route guided by the Urubamba river, we will enjoy the train service until we reach the station of Machu Picchu town , we will walk a few minutes to board the shared buses to the entrance of the lost jewel of the Incas, on a 30-minute route on the bus, we will arrive and register our visit to Machu Picchu, we will have a guided tour of the most important parts of the enclosure, then take our lunch in the restaurant of the prestigious Sanctuary Lodge hotel, after a coffee and a deserved dessert, we will enter for the second time to complete our visit to this modern wonder.
At an appropriate time we will take the bus down to board our train to Ollantaytambo, where our mobile unit will pick us up to take us to the hotel in the Valley and rest.
Day 4
This day, taking the route to Cusco, we will visit the community of Misminay, where we will have a beautiful workshop of ancestral fabrics, then go down on bikes to the terraces of Moray, after a guided tour we will go to a private house in Maras, where We will have lunch with your hosts and very dear friends of ours, after the incredible lunch, we will visit the salt mines of Maras, then take the route to Cusco, where we will have a spectacular dinner at the MAP Café, inside the Museum of Pre Columbian Art and then enjoy the night in our hotel in the city of Cusco.
Day 5
Today is our last day, so we will visit the Cathedral of Cusco, then visit the most important temple in the Empire, the Qoricancha, then have lunch in the heart of the San Blas artisan neighborhood, in the courtyard of a colonial mansion and then A short walk through the workshops of the most important artisans of modern Cusco, then go to the airport of Cusco to board our flight to Lima, (we recommend a flight that leaves between 19:00 and 20:00 h) on arrival at Lima will have a host that will help us check our bags for our international flight (we recommend taking flights that leave Lima between 23:00 and 01:00 hr)
